14 November 2010, Singapore – American Idol Season 7 Finalist David Archuleta is in Singapore to launch his album ‘The Other Side of Down’ as well as reward fans who purchased the recently launched Nokia N8 from the first operator to offer this, SingTel.

Fans tonight were treated to a very charismatic David Archuleta. The youthful David, affectionately known as Archie was bouncing on stage getting the audience to participate and join in the songs. He casually remarked that he has not been in any relationship and aspires to find everlasting love in his new ballad ‘My Kind of Perfect’. David knows his time will eventually come but wonders when. “It’s about waiting and knowing that they don’t have to be perfect, they just have to be my kind of perfect,” he explains.
David’s current musical tastes run the pop-rock gamut, from acoustic guitar-driven singer-songwriters like Jason Mraz to the electronic sounds of female innovators like Imogen Heap and A Fine Frenzy. This is not surprising, considering David’s appreciation for the beauty of melody, a trait he displays time and time again while performing on American Idol.
The Muttons from Mediacorp’s 98.7FM were hosting the session.

David Archuleta autograph session in Singapore
David signs his first autograph
15 November 2010, Singapore - One night after the SingTel and Nokia N8 David Archuleta showcase at Zouk, David Archuleta and Alfredo Herz were present to sign autographs and meet their fans at Bugis Junction.
It must have been a long day for David as he was also together with a few groups of media journalists to answer their questions at the Ritz Carlton Millenia Hotel hours before his autograph session.
